Joe Hill-året fortsätter att firas och vi är glada att kunna bjuda in till releasen av en ny bok: Never forget Joe Hill / Glöm aldrig Joe Hill. Det är en trespråkig antologi på svenska, italienska och engelska som kretsar kring Joe Hills musik och andra kulturuttryck som handlar om Joe Hills liv och leverne. Den innehåller bland annat sångtexter, teaterskripta, serier, bilder, samt texter som sätter in dessa i sina historiska kontexter. En nyinspelad CD-skiva medföljer dessutom. Boken har producerats av våra kamrater på det italienska förlaget APARTE°, och kommer säljas av oss i Sverige.
Boksläppet kommer hållas på Joe Hill-museet i Gävle fredagen den 14 augusti, under den internationella konferensen Still building internationalism. Klockan 20.00 slår museet upp dörrarna till sin fina utegård där vi kommer berätta om boken tillsammans med redaktören Rino De Michele från förlaget APARTE°. Det bjuds sedan på livemusik av Fred Alpi, en av artisterna som medverkat på CD:n. Evenemanget är öppet för allmänheten, men vi vill passa på att påminna om att man fortfarande kan anmäla sig till konferensen!

Bookrelease: Never forget Joe Hill!
Federativs förlag is proud to present a new anthology: Never forget Joe Hill. The book focuses on Joe Hill’s music and other works of art that relate to his life and history. It contains song texts, photos, theatre scripts, comics and more, both in English, Italian and Swedish. A brand new CD will also follow with the book. The book and CD is produced by APARTE° in Italy, an anarchist book publishing house, and will be distributed by Federativs in Sweden.
The release will be held at the Joe Hill museum in Gävle (Sweden) on Friday the 14th of August, during the international conference Still building internationalism. The museum invites you to their lovely garden at 20.00 (8 pm), where the editor Rino De Michele from APARTE° will talk about the book and their other work. After that Fred Alpi, a Swedish singer that contributed to the CD, will give a special live concert. The event is open for the public, but we want to remind you that you still can sign up for the conference!
